People who do not know the Hanoverian breed frequently think that the State Stud at Celle (Niedersächsisches Landgestüt Celle) and the Hannoveraner Verband e.V. are one entity. This however is incorrect. The State Stud at Celle and the Hannoveraner Verband are two seperate organisations that work in close cooperation for the benefit of the Hanoverian breed. The Hannoveraner Verband is a private cooperation financed by members, whereas the State Stud at Celle is a wholly state (German) owned institution.
Hannoveraner Verband (Language: German, English, French or Spanish).
The Hannoveraner Verband has a members magazine titled Der Hannoveraner. Der Hannoveraner is a German, monthly Hanoverian breeders magazine that includes reports about auctions, sport and breeding as well information about mare performance tests, mare shows and activities of the Hannoveraner Verband.
There is also an English version titled The Hanoverian, which is published bi-montly and contains information about the most interesting news and events surrounding the Hanoverian and the Hannoveraner Verband, thus providing information to English speaking members. A free, no obligation trial subscription is available.

The Hanoverian can be found world wide. There are XXXX Hanoverian daughter societies, which operate independently to the Hannoveraner Verband according to the breeding rules and standards of the German society. These daughter societies manage their own stud book and use their own national Hanoverian brand.
