AEA Burong is located in Woodend, Victoria and is owned and operated by Dirk Dijstra. When he moved to Australia in 1982, Dirk and Sicca Dijkstra (nee van Schaardenburg) purchased the Australian Equestrian Academy and Stud from its founder Fred and Susie Hoevenaars. It is this business which forms the basis of AEA Burong. The stud relocated from the Bellarine Peninsula to Whinclesea as AEA Burong in 199?. In March 2009, AEA Burong relocated to Woodend along with their two imported stallions AEA Metallic (Imp) (Métall/Gabor/Troostwijk) and AEA Tuschinski (Imp) (Tuschinski/Gribaldi/Belisar). AEA Burong have frozen semen from the following stallions available for purchase:
