Canberra Performance Horses
Pialligo / ACT / Australia

Canberra Performance Horses (CPH) is located in Pialligo, Australian Capital Territory and is owned and operated by Nina and Steve Boyd. Canberra Performance Horses (CPH) specialise in dressage training and competition (both horse and rider), aiming to promote the sport of dressage, giving horses and riders the guidance, support and training they need to excel in dressage.

Nina Boyd commenced dressage at a young age, from competing as a young rider to becoming a professional, competitive senior rider. She has competed at FEI level and has spent time training in Germany, where she developed many skills and further developed her knowledge and riding ability.

Nina is currently riding the imported Baden-Württemberg stallion First Kiss (Imp) (French Kiss/Werther Wells/Cor De Brilliant) on behalf of his owner Amelia Kristan. First Kiss was imported by James and Emmie Schmul of Heatherton Park Dressage Training Stables in (2003?). He is now owned by Amelia Kristan of Riverview Dressage and Show Horses.

Canberra Performance Horses have recently purchased the licensed Württemberger stallion Fürstino (Fürst Grandios/Weltmeyer/Aperitif) at the South German Stallion Auction held in München-Riem, Germany, from 27-29 January, 2011. Fürstino was bred by Anja and Josef Riß of Medlingen, Germany. Berni Saunders from Cyberhorse caught up with Nina Boyd to find out Fürstino's future plans and when he will be coming to Australia.
