Matavia Performance Horses is located in Lochinvar, New South Wales and is owned and operated by Adrian and Rachel Whiting. Matavia Performance Horses is a family run stud that has been refining their breeding over the last ten years. Breeding and horses run in both families, with their stud name Matavia originating from the Thomas family farm in the 1920's.

 

Matavia Performance Horses breed Hanoverian mares to fully licensed and performance tested Hanoverian stallions. Their broodmares are classified with the Hanoverian Horse Society of Australia (HHSA) and have been bred or selected for their ability to produce progeny that are elegant with outstanding temperaments and athletic movement.

 

Stallions utilised in Matavia's breeding include Champion FP (Champion Du Lys/For Pleasure/Don Carlos), De Niro (Donnerhall/Akzent II/Wiesenbaum), Ferrero Rocher (Imp) (Florestan I/Weltmeyer/Pik Bube II), Fishermans Friend (Imp) (Fabriano/Pik Solo/Libanon), Gymnastik Star (Imp) (Glückspilz/Calypso II/Werther), Lauries As (Imp) (Londonderry/Pik Bube/Golden Miller), River Dance (Imp) (Rubinstein/Atatürk/Cavalier), Rotspon (Rubinstein/Argentan I/Pik Bube I) and Worldly (Weltmeyer/Brentano II/Ludendorff).
