Statene Park
Drysdale / VIC / Australia

Statene Park is located in Drysdale, Victoria and is owned by Mary and Rob Hanna and operated by Mary, Rob and Mary's daughter Gitte Donvig. Statene Park was foundered by Gert and Mary Donvig. Gert and Mary imported a number of Warmblood stallions into Australia.

The first stallion Statene Park imported to Australia was Kilof McOhl (Imp/Dec) (Kilof/Gabriel/Florentiner). In 1979, Statene Park imported the Danish Warmblood stallion Granada (Imp/Dec) (Goldfinger/Securius/Tokajer), followed by the Danish Trakehner stallion Valuta (Imp/Dec) (Dominent/Alf/Traum) in 1982 and Wunder (Imp/Dec) (Voltaire/Atlantic/Pilar) in 1986. Sadly, in 1988 Gert Donvig was killed in a car accident.

Mary Donvig (nee Sutherland) later remarried an eventer named Rob Hanna. Statene Park has since imported stallions such as Donner'Heist (Imp/Dec) (Donnerhall/Wendekreis II/Drost), Rituel (Imp) (Weltmeyer II/Wendekreis II/Drost), the Trakehner stallion Solo ll (Imp) (Kassiber/Cocktail/Makuba xx) and the Swedish Warmblood Vancouver II (Imp/Dec) (Happy Day 650/Singmir 557/Hurricane xx). Rituel now stands with Scarlet (nee Nordgren) and Tony Blakeley of Wormbete Pastoral Company in Winchelsea, Victoria after purchasing him from AEA Burong in 2008. Solo II is closely related to APH Spiegel (Kassiber/Makuba xx/Pelion), who stands at Cloverfern Equestrian Centre.

In 2006, Statene Park relocated from Macedon to Drysdale on the Bellarine Peninsula, Victoria. Statene Park now stands two imported stallions, the licensed Oldenburg stallion Shiraz Black (Imp) (Sandro Hit/Donnerhall/Martinez) and Brioni (Imp) (Jazz/Funkenspiel/Rokoko).
