Tallyho Trakehner Stud is located in Cundletown, New South Wales and is owned and operated by Robyn Smith. Kaliber was purchased by Tallyho Trakehner Stud in 1974 from the Wahler family from Klosterhoff, Medingen. With the importation of Kaliber in 1975 from Germany, Tallyho Trakehner Stud was born. In 1977, Tallyho Trakehner Stud imported two purebred Trakehner mares, Vision and Mira VIII (dam of Tallyho Mandrake). In 1985, Korrit was imported from Germany.

 

All Trakehner stallions currently standing at Tallyho Trakehner Stud are bred by the stud. Although now deceased, Trakehner stallions Kaliber (Imp), Korrit (Imp) and Tallyho Mandrake are available by frozen semen to select mares. Tallyho Mandrake was by the imported Trakehner stallion Kaliber out of the imported Trakehner mare Mira VIII.
